Arches POS Delivery Support Resource
1. Delivery Zones
- Setup in Arches POS
- Create delivery zones by defining radius or polygon boundaries in Arches Admin.
- Assign zones to stores (e.g., Wholesome Utah, LIV Michigan).
- Ensure each zone is mapped to an active delivery team in Onfleet.
- Best Practices
- Avoid overlapping zones to prevent routing conflicts.
- Test with sample addresses to confirm the correct assignment.
2. Manifests
- Order Bundling
- Metrc Manifests are generated per delivery when dispatching through Arches.
- Orders are scheduled in Windows/Zones & Routed via OnFleet
- Manifests are generated for deliveries when dispatching through Arches (Utah only)
- Manifests sync with Onfleet, showing the assigned driver, stops, and ETAs.
- Editing
- Add/remove orders before driver dispatch.
- Once dispatched, updates should reflect in Onfleet to avoid conflicts.
3. Onfleet Integration
- How the Sync Works
- Orders received in Arches Admin automatically push to OnFleet with customer details, order ID, and payment method.
- Status updates (en route, completed, failed) flow back to Arches for tracking.
- When to Use Arches vs Onfleet
- Arches Admin: Order creation, manifest building, order edits prior to dispatch.
- Edits can be made in certain states like (MI) post dispatch. Driver will call in to update Arches Order, but will physically alter the printed manifest.
- Onfleet: Live driver tracking, delivery status updates, customer communication.
4. Driver App (Onfleet)
- Navigation & Tasks
- Drivers receive manifests with optimized routes.
- Can mark deliveries as successful, failed, or partially completed.
- Capture proof-of-delivery (photo, signature, ID scan if required).
- Cash Handling
- Drivers record all payments in Onfleet.
- End-of-shift reconciliation happens at the store or remote dispatch location (Ferndale for LIV).
5. Cash & Payment Reconciliation
- Cash Orders
- Onfleet tracks cash collection per delivery.
- Drivers submit totals against manifests at the end of their shift.
- Card Orders
- Payment will automatically be processed in Arches once the Debit payment has been taken. Other than marking the order complete, the Driver will not have to call in and/or make changes to the order.
